Notice of Removal of Companies

Please be advised that Companies Registry has issued a Notice in accordance with
Section 489(1) (a) of the Companies Act Chap 81:01 (“the Act”),where companies that have not filed their annual returns for a period of 3 years or more are in breach of the Act, and will be struck off the Companies Register.


Section 489 (1) (a) states: The registrar may strike off the register a company or
other body corporate, including an external company, if - The company or other
body corporate fails to send any return, notice, document or prescribed fee to the
Registrar as required pursuant to this Act.
The Companies Registry identified on their website a list of companies that is carded to be deregistered unless ALL outstanding annual returns are brought up to date.

Please note that new companies are being added daily. A thirty(30) day reprieve is
given to companies from the date of publication to bring their filings up to date. Itshould also be noted that the amnesty period waiving penalties for late filing has been extended to the 14th November 2024.
